Question by haseltonk: Can I use an old Dish Network DVR to record cable?
I just switched from Dish Network to Mediacom for my cable services. Mediacom will only give me 1 DVR receiver, and I am wondering if there is any way to convert my old Dish DVR receivers to record shows from cable? I know it won’t be able to bring up guide, search, etc but is there anyway to even make it pause, RW, etc?

The DishNetwork DVD will NOT record cable signals. Only works with satellite signals.
