Question by mic5274: cant get onto internet using wireless adaptor on bt broadband?
the wireless adaptor has excellent signal strength and i have connected it to the bt home hub, but when i click on internet explorer i cant get onto the internet.my computer upstairs works but the one downstairs is proving a problem!

check your network adapter’s IP address under status If it has a 169.x.x.x address set up a 192.168.0.x with a mask of 255.255.255.0 and a gateway of 192.168.0.1. that should do it. I see a lot of people have this issue, there are many ways to deal with too. Just a guess. Good Luck.
