Question by ya-hoo Q: Connecting to a wireless network using a wireless router or access point?
I wanted to know if is possible to directly connect a wireless router to a pc with no wireless capability and use it to find other wireless networks.
Or do i need to purchase a Wirless card or adapter to connect to wireless networks?

You need a wireless network adapter. Wireless routers do not connect to other wireless routers wirelessly.

Can use wireless adapter/card alone without need of modem or router to share with active wireless network from remote location if any within the allowed transmiting range and with certain technical conditions. Home routers are often setup with security network key that you must enter this data into your Windows’ network property before making the connection.
