How do I set my home network to automatically connect when I log on?

Question by Alaura: How do I set my home network to automatically connect when I log on?
Just bought a new laptop, Lenovo IdeaPad and am running Windows 7 Home on it. Every time I log on I have to manually click “connect” when I’m connecting to my home network. Where are the settings or what do I do to make it automatically connect to that particular network?? Thank yaaa

Type in the start bar Manage Wireless Networks
or
Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Manage wireless networks

Right-click on the network you are using, and click properties.

check “connect automatically when this network is in range”

Done.

  1. once you are already connected to your home network
    open network and sharing center
where it says connections it should already have the network you are connected to
just click on it then click on wireless properties then
    you’ll see the option
