Question by soular_rae: How do I switch on the wireless on my IBM T40 notebook?
It has a wireless LAN Adapter (CISCO Systems PCI), the drivers are installed and it says that the device is properly working (the Adapter). But when I tried to search for wireless connections, my notebook couldn’t find it. It says “Make sure the wireless switch on your computer is on”. I used my office notebook (dell D620) to search for wireless connection and it found lots of connections and was able to connect to some of them. Thanks very much for the help!

If you have ThinkVantage Access Connections running (icon in the system tray), click on it and select Power On Wireless Radio. Another way is to press the blue Fn key and the F5 key. (The F5 key should show a computer with wireless lines coming out of it.)
