Question by : i am planning on buying a wireless router and setting it up right next to my xbox?
i plan on using an ethernet cable from the router, to the console. however, how wuld i need to set up the router. wuld the router need to be hooked up by a computer. give me steps on how to hook up the wireless router and answer those questions above.

You need a phone jack in the wall and two ethernet cables. But if you have the one phone jack then you can get a splitter and plug the Xbox and the router into. the other option is to plug the ethernet cable into the router form the wall and one from the router to the Xbox. If you don’t have a computer/PS3/Ipod then you don’t need the wireless router just plug the Xbox straight into the wall jack.
