Question by Mike T: Problem installing wireless router?
I had to re-install my Netgear wireless router and am running into a brick wall. During the install, it’s asking for a user name and a password. I thought I had to use the one I had for my yahoo account, so I used that and it goes like it’s installing for 3-4 minutes and then it says the username/password is invalid? What am I doing wrong?
SBC Global is my service provider, this is the login information I am using when I try to log in.

you need your broadband account username if this is for internet connectivity.
Otherwise it’s in order to log on to the router itself, usually Netgear is
Username: Administrator
Password: password
sometimes it’s one of the following
Admin
Password
Admin
*blank – no password*
Administrator
*blank – no password*
Admin
Admin
