Q&A: What company offers the “wireless internet card” for laptops?

Question by Andrea: What company offers the “wireless internet card” for laptops?
I’m trying to get internet on my laptop, without having to look for a wireless signal. I want internet on my laptop that I can go anywhere and still have the same internet speed/availability.

I’ve checked on Verizon Wireless but it seems they only offer it for their cellphones. I’ve also gone to AT&T, but I can’t seem to get a price on their website.

Actually most wireless carriers will offer this. I know verizon and ATT will do it, as well as sprint.

Check out ATT here:

Verizon cards are under mobile broadband:

  1. AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint all offer it. It’s often refered to as an “aircard”

  2. Verizon, AT&T, Alltell, Sprint. They all have wireless cards, that are around 50 after a rebate. It is expensive for the month to month cost, so keep that in mind.
