Question by soccerchamp294: Where can i get an ethernet splitter for my xbox 360 and will it work?
i have a DSL Router. and everytime i need to go on xbox live i have to disconnect the ethernet cable from the pc and into the 360
this is getting annoying i want to get the adapter for the 360 but its expensive so im saving up in the meantime can i use an etheret splitter?

im assuming the dsl router has more then 1 ethernet port on it.. considering its a router? . if so then another ethernet cable would be more suitable

i think you mean you have a DSL modem, not a router. A modem is what you get from your internet service provider and connects to your cable, then provides you with access to the internet. A router takes that signal and sends it to multiple things. What you NEED is a router, not an ethernet splitter. Ethernet cables are not like audio cables or video cables, you can’t just use a splitter like you would for headphones and then have 2 items receive signal. You need a router (either wired or wireless) to take that signal and send it to multiple things – in your case, a computer and a 360.
