  1. You are just going to have to use a long ethernet cable. If you don’t want to pay the $ 100, it is the only way you will be able to connect your 360 and play online.

On your router, on the back (at least on mine), you will see plugs labeled as “LAN”, and thats what you plug it into.

  2. I have a 30m ethernet cable direct from the router upstairs into my room, cost me around £10 which is around $ 20

  3. The official adapter is the only one I have got to work with the 360. You might be able to use a wireless adapter, but I haven’t had a lot of success with them.

Failing that, search ebay or Craigslist for a used one. They generally run from $ 25-$ 75 USD.

  4. The is a even longer cable that is to be said to reach 50 feet. I don’t know how far your router is but I hope this can help. Plus you can’t by any other wireless adapter. You have to install the software for that product and you can’t install things on your Xbox

  5. firewire??

  6. if you got a laptop or pc connect the ethernet cable to the laptop or pc and xbox 360 and you’ll have xbox live
