Question by newfrog_of_ar: Why does my linksys wireless g notebook adapter not connect all the way to my gateway?
I have a 2Wire DSL gateway. My new linksys adapter will not connect to see the internet when I use the linksys monitor software. It will connect when I tell it to use windows xp to connect wireless. What can I do to fix this? I turned on my ssid broadcast. I put in the correct passkey. Linksys monitor will not connect either automatic or manual setup.

I’ve had bad luck now with proprietary software for two network adapters, one by DLink and one by Belkin. I advise you to stick with the Windows XP handler and forget about the special stuff.
