If I get a wireless usb network adapter and plug it into my computer will i be able to get wireless for my ipod touch?

no you cannot your ipod touch already has a wireless card built in. i don’t see why you would need a usb adapter. anyway its not possible, your ipod doesn’t even have a USB port to plug it into

  1. Yes, but there are a lot of ifs. You’d be much better off getting a wireless router ($ 14 to $ 25 at any electronics store).

    Do you currently have a wired router? If you have a wired router, you can get a USB WiFi adapter that supports Access Point mode. You can then bridge your wired adapter to the wireless adapter. It’s a pain, but it can be made to work.

    If you have an Internet connection that has no router at all, you have to use ICS instead of bridging. This can also be made to work, but it’s quite the pain.

    Again, I strongly recommend you just buy a wireless router. It will allow your wireless devices to work even when your computer is off, and computers make lousy routers if they’re doing other things at the same time.
